Life as a chartered building surveyor is both challenging and rewarding! Contrary to popular belief it can also be very exciting. I meet new people every day when surveying their property and often find variations on defects from across the spectrum! But life got especially exciting on Tuesday morning as before setting off to survey a 1920′s detached property in Hull, my wife and I walked to the roundabout in our village, Brough, to watch the Olympic flame travel past! What an honour; and whilst I am a football mad chartered surveyor this really set up the rest of my week! I now can’t wait for the Olympics to start! Right off to survey a 1980 4 bed detached in west Hull.
